hsuDr. Hsu graduated magna cum laude from New York University and obtained her dental degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. During her undergraduate time, she was awarded a merit based scholarship and the Ernst Rose GCL Schuchard Anniversary Prize.  While at Harvard, Dr. Hsu was the recipient of an NIDCR/NIH research training grant to pursue dental research on Early Childhood Caries.  She was also the social chair of the Asian American Health Association and member of the ASDA.  After receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Dr. Hsu completed a General Practice Dental Residency at the Harvard affiliated hospitals in Boston, where she received extensive training in dental trauma/emergencies and in the management of medically complex patients.

She then worked as a general practitioner, where she was well loved by her patients.  This is when it became apparent to her that she had a passion for pediatric dentistry.  Dr. Hsu returned to New York to complete her pediatric dentistry training at the Mount Sinai Hospital.  There she received extensive training in various behavior management techniques, performing procedures with Nitrous Oxide (“laughing gas”) and performing full mouth rehabilitation under general anesthesia in the operating room.

Dr. Hsu is a member of the ADA and AAPD.  Her main goal is to provide her patients with a pleasant experience, thereby setting the stage for optimal oral health.  Dr. Hsu’s motto is: “Going to the dentist is fun!”.
